  Yo Heath, et al;

   It was good to see you all out @ the rose gardens recently.  Nice show 
ya'll helped to put on! Very proud of my friends, representing the "Zone" 
and all! hell yeah.

I should mention that aboard my rig is a GPS, with computer interface and 
mapping software.  We can keep track of elevation, coord. etc.

I think this is the topic for discussion. where to go?
Feel that the idea of following previous Rainbow locations could lead us 
to some nice, wide open spaces.  I don't know how many were in attendance 
at the Rainbow's Gathering in '78.. but I'm sure it was still more heads 
then the mutant brings even in '09.  Still, we should keep our eyes to new 
horizons.  I'm interested in areas South / South East of Bend, OR.  And 
all Areas North, North East / North West of Roseburg.  Rouge River areas 
are of high interest to me.. however Aaron and I scouted some areas some 
60 miles due west of Roseburg back in '03 & '04 and didn't find anything 
really substantial. I need to take a look at the maps again.

   MAPPING HAPPENING:

    I would like to call all parties and represnting heads to a Mid August 
Mapping Happening.  This will be an evening to lay out the maps before us, 
in order to pin point any areas of interest and lay out plans for our 
September/October/November scouting missions.  This will also serve as a 
get to know eachother event [for those of use yet to be aquainted] and 
also a time to talk about edible Fungi harvesting/wild crafting for winter 
$tockpiling!
